Aquaporin Asia boosts R&D activities and lays the foundation for further growth under the FAST-TECH incubation scheme by hiring its first laboratory technician.
On September 1st 2014 Aquaporin Asia's workforce was expanded with its first Laboratory Technician.

- With more than 8 years of industry experience and a broad range of responsibilities - spanning from laboratory set-up to R&D work and production up-scaling - under his belt, Effendi is ideally suited to take on the challenge of contributing to Aquaporin Asia's R&D and pilot production activities - says Mark Perry, COO of Aquaporin Asia.

In Aquaporin Asia, Effendi's job scope as Laboratory Technician will include supporting Aquaporin Asia's research staff in biomimetic membrane development activities as well as assisting in the operation of Aquaporin Asia's new Aquaporin Inside™ membrane pilot production line for the company's reverse osmosis membrane products.

-The state of the art water treatment capabilities of the Aquaporin protein never stops to amaze me. I cannot wait to share the advantages of this advanced technology with our customers, where it can help them improve their existing membrane performances and reduce overall production costs - says Effendi.
